My First Masterpiece

Out of excitement, I hurried to my desk and play with the clay... It wasn't easy as I thought it was. Artist on youtube seem to make it very easy to play with the clay but the truth is... it isn't!

You need a lot of kneading and a little bit of patience. It is important to put a lot of lotion as it is going to stick on your hands and your fingerprints are going to leave marks on your creation. 

My first masterpiece of course is my son's tag name. I didn't have a molder at that time so everything was made out of fighting spirit (haha). I had to watch on youtube tutorial several times to check if I was doing the right thing. It wasn't perfect as expected on newbies like me and I am still a work in progress aspiring artist. 

There is something in kneading with the clay that somehow soothes my mind and relaxes my body. It fills my soul with blissfulness, excitement, and new hope. 

So if you are bored like me and contemplating on something to keep you busy, try exploring new hobby, be it plantita or claytita.

My ADC Journey

 Hello there,

I started with air dry clay last December and I am grateful for the support system my #fadc family is giving me. I am new in this craft but little by little I can say... I am getting there...

I wish someone has guided me on the things I needed to buy and things that are less essentials as a newbie in this craft. 

What pushed me to air dry clay?

A few years back, I watched a video on #adc and I said to myself that I want to try it... when this pandemic put everyone on lockdown, I was thinking of ways to earn online but because of my growing belly, I had to set aside my plans and just enjoy my pregnancy journey.

Then one day I bump into a group for polymer clay then group suggestions just kept on adding to my walls. I joined each of them and I am glad I was accepted.

I was a silent reader for a week. Every time new clay cutters and molders were posted I hurried to shopee and add to the cart. Reading made me more interested in air dry clay. At bedtime, I would watch youtube tutorials to gain more ideas on how to make keychains, ref magnets and chibis. 

I am not a pro but I have made my first step to reach my goal....
